Career Day
Career Day Requirements
Friday, April 3rd
Along with dressing in your career attire, bringing 2-3 artifacts/items that relate to your chosen career the day you give your presentation, please also create a poster.
The poster should be on a Poster Board/Tri-Fold and include:
- Job Title and your Name
- Big Idea Paragraph explaining your career
- 5 other paragraphs with icons of your choice (include pictures)
Due Wednesday, April 1st
Artifacts/costume is due Friday, April 3rd

Great site to explore careers
Click “Advanced Search,” then “Interests” to search by Holland Code. Can also search by Values, Skills, Tools & Technology used, etc.
Look for careers in Job Zone 3, 4 or 5 to find occupations that require at least 2 years of college.
At the bottom of each career report, in the Wages section, if you select California from the pull-down list, it will bring you to a website that has CA earnings data and usually a great career video.
